About the practice

rhizae is currently an independent practice led by Rich Nguon. The practice draws on experience in software development, applied data analysis, technical research, systems design, and cross-functional problem-solving.

One accountable lead

Rich is the accountable lead for work accepted by the practice and remains involved from scoping through handover. Project descriptions identify which experience comes from rhizae, independent work, and prior roles.

Specialists by named agreement

Where a proposed project needs expertise the practice does not hold, that limit is made explicit. A specialist collaborator may be recommended or named before work begins, with responsibilities and data access documented under the project decision rights.

What being small rules out

rhizae is not positioned to lead several large engagements at once, high-stakes causal evaluations, legal or regulatory advice, or specialist statistical work outside demonstrated capability. Early projects are deliberately focused, as described in Potential pilot partners.
